WHO WE ARE
BRAVE RADIO FRIENDS is an international group of radio enthusiasts from all over the world: amateur radio operators (OP), short wave listeners (SWL) as well as broadcast band listeners (BCL) from (currently) the following countries:
Argentina, Austria, Australia, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China, Columbia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kazachstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Malta, the Netherlands, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Réunion, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain incl. Our common interest lies in DXing, hunting for awards and showing activity on the radio. The group organizes several radio activities per year and offers some awards for OP, SWL and BCL.
There is no membership fee and everyone who has demonstrated special activity in the field of radio can become a lifetime member. There is an initial application fee of 5 € or 8 US-$ or 6 IRCs for those who wish to receive the membership award printed on paper, for those who prefer a pdf-version to print it themselves, there is no fee at all.
